Ken Bertsch served as executive director of the Council of Institutional Investors from 2016 to 2020. He previously was a partner at CamberView Partners; president and CEO of the Society for Corporate Governance; head of corporate governance at Morgan Stanley Investment Management; managing director for corporate governance analysis at Moody’s Investors Service; director of governance engagement at TIAA-CREF; and in various roles at the Investor Responsibility Research Center. He holds a JD from Fordham University School of Law and an undergraduate degree from Williams College.
